What Is Security Awareness Training?

Security awareness training is the process of giving your staff formal cybersecurity education on the range of threats to information security and on your company's policies and procedures for dealing with them. The topics often reach beyond the digital world into physical security and how employees can keep themselves and the people close to them safe. The training takes several forms, most often delivered online or on a computer.

Rather than a one off event, security awareness training pays off most when it is treated as an essential continuing practice inside a wider awareness program. Both the training and the program are central to building a security culture in modern, digitally dependent organizations.

Our Training Program

The IT security program is designed to give individuals and professionals the knowledge and skills to handle common security threats and exposures, so they can keep their lives and property secure while using mobile phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, printers, and copiers, for business and for pleasure.

Have You Ever Asked Yourself?

  • Why is my mobile phone, tablet, or laptop so slow?
  • Can someone really listen to my mobile phone calls without my permission?
  • Someone stole my Facebook password. How did they do it, and how do I protect myself?
  • How would I know I have been hacked if I am not an IT specialist?
  • I download films onto my computer, but are they safe?
  • How would I know I am being tracked from work?
  • Can someone really take a photo from my mobile phone without my password and my permission?
  • Someone installed pirated software on my server, computer, phone, and tablet. It was cheap, but is it wise?
  • I use a mobile phone, a tablet, and a laptop with a camera. Is that safe?
  • I use a cheap imported phone and tablet and they work well, but are they secure?
