An alliance to transform access data into actionable intelligence

PCSC Security and Davista.ai have formalized a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing PCSC’s access control solutions with predictive intelligence and advanced analytics. According to SDM Magazine, this collaboration combines PCSC’s long-standing expertise in physical access management with Davista.ai’s AI technologies, specialized in pattern and anomaly detection.

The core of this innovation lies in transforming raw data generated by access control systems (access events, alarms, camera triggers, violations) into actionable insights. Unlike traditional systems that merely record what has occurred, this solution collectively analyzes these data points to identify trends, clusters of activity, or unusual behaviors.

The opportunity is not just to add AI to an access control system, but to use the data already collected to identify patterns, anomalies, and emerging conditions, then convert them into concrete actions.

Predictive Security: thermal maps and dynamic patrols for proactive security

The solution named Predictive Security introduces a layer of visual intelligence and analytics, as explained by Access Newswire. It generates thermal maps (heat maps) allowing security teams to instantly visualize high-traffic or high-risk areas. For example, an unusual concentration of access in a specific sector can trigger an automatic alert.

Beyond detection, Predictive Security suggests optimized patrol routes based on real-time activity, historical patterns, and changing conditions. This dynamic approach reduces response times and allocates resources where they are most needed, shifting from a reactive logic to a proactive strategy.

What this changes here: toward proactive security for Beninese businesses and administrations

For businesses and administrations in West Africa, including those in Benin, this innovation could significantly reduce vulnerabilities related to unauthorized access or suspicious behavior. Sectors such as critical infrastructures (ports, airports), financial institutions, or university campuses could benefit from tighter monitoring, with the ability to anticipate risks before they materialize.

The integration of Predictive Security into solutions like LiNC-NXG, the physical security information management (PSIM) software from PCSC, offers immediate scalability for existing clients. Organizations already using access control systems could thus upgrade their infrastructure without entirely replacing their equipment, a major advantage for the often constrained budgets of local administrations.

Finally, this approach could inspire local collaborations between technology providers and IT consulting firms to adapt these solutions to the specificities of African environments, such as managing flows in markets or industrial sites.

Expanded sector-specific applications: from healthcare to governments

The partnership targets several sectors where physical security is critical, such as government environments, healthcare facilities, or financial services, according to statements from Mas Kosaka, CEO of PCSC. For example, in a hospital, AI could detect abnormal access patterns in sensitive areas (laboratories, pharmacies) and suggest targeted reinforcements.

Scott Sieracki, co-founder of Davista.ai, emphasizes that the opportunity does not lie solely in adding AI, but in leveraging existing data to transform security. This philosophy could be particularly relevant for developing countries, where security infrastructures are often underoptimized but already generate significant volumes of data.
